in 9th. of March Mr. Gregory Balestrero the Chief Executive Officer of PMI visited Kuwait upon invitation from PMI-AGC Chapter.
It was very rich and unique experience for me to meet Mr. Gregory and listen to him he have a very deep experience in project management and business and he have a very large general knowledge he is look like a encyclopedia.
The visit started at 8:00 AM , Mr. Gregory visited Kuwait Oil Company and Kuwiat Petroleum Company and we had lunch in Al Ahmady Guest House, after that we visited Kharafi National and we met Mr. Samer Younis Deputy Managing Director of Kharafi National W.L.L . and this also was an excellent experience for me to attend the discussion between leaders.
Mr. Hashim Al Refaai the vice president of PMI – AGC (Kuwait) Chapter, Mr. Yehia Khader VP PMI – AGC , and all PMI-AGC Kuwait Directors joined the tour.

At 7:00 PM there was a round table discussion in Shiraton Hotel between Mr. Gregory and a group of business men and PM practitioners in Kuwait and they discussed how PMI as world respected organization can support the Projects in Kuwait.
Dr. Salah Al Sharhan from GUST University invited Mr. Gregory to visit the GUST’s new camp in Mishrif and Mr. Gregory accepted the invitation but he postponed it to his next visit in May 2008.

After the round table discussion there was a nice dinner in sheraton and after that we said good bye.
I noticed one thing , during the tour Mr. Gregory was busy in writing down each information that he hear and feel it is useful. Specially in KOC display house he was writing every thing that the guide say may be this is one of the reasons of becoming a great leader like Mr. Gregory . WHAT A GREAT PERSON

I missed this event, I hope that he will make another visit to kuwait to conduct some sessions
