PMI-SP Certification Exam

I had many requirements about the PMI-SP exam, actually this exam is very suitable for the planning Engineers and schedulers. To pass it you need to study well some topics like the following

You need to Know the following:-

1 - The dependency relationships (SS,FS,SF,FF)

2 - Critical Path calculations.

3 - You need to study well the following :-

- communication Knowledge area. (PMBOK)

- Earned value

- Time Management knowledge area (PMBOK)

o Estimation Techniques and the difference between them

o Resource levelling , Fast track , Crashing techniques

o What-if scenario , Risk , Simulation

- The relation between risk , cost and schedule.

- Integrated change control

My advice to you is to study these Knowledge areas and enter the exam.

Thank you for your advice. There is a complementry guide called "Practice Standard for Scheduling", from PMI. I hope this should also be read apart from the knowledge areas you mentioned from PMBOK guide.
